As most DC's now know, the CE Law went into effect on January 1, 2004 . The requirement is 36 hours over a three year period .
Since there are many of you who are going to have to renew before 3 years this first time around, they will need 1 credit per month starting January 1, 2004.
Example: If your license has to be renewed in March 2006. You need 12 credits for 2004, 12 for 2005 and 3 for 2006 totaling 27. The only requirement for type of credits is that 1/3 MUST be in ethics so you would need 9 in ethics.
